WWPL DFW – Week 5

I had quite a few requests for locating juvenile/youth materials this week. I am still very uncomfortable with children/youth services - both because I am unfamiliar with popular titles and authors, and because I find it difficult to find things in the Young People’s section. However, I do enjoy the kids and their passion for learning. I managed to be helpful despite my lack of confidence. I totally appreciate Liz’s willingness to help me out when I need her.

As promised, I touched base with Liz and Jane regarding the web form. Liz is mostly satisfied with the changes. As for Jane, I was surprised to find out that she had already forwarded my document to the webmaster to find out if the proposed changes are do-able. I was expecting her to wait until I had touched base with her and Liz to verify that everyone is in agreement regarding the proposed changes. I am thankful Liz is happy with it because it would seem that the preliminary draft is now the final draft.
