WWPL DFW – Week 6

This was a surprisingly slow week in information services. The good news is that it gave me time to explore Novelist as well as the Camtasia software. As a matter of fact, I had the opportunity to use Novelist to find read-alikes for several patrons. In sharing this cool tool with patrons, they seemed quite impressed, and they were excited to learn they have access to it through the library website.

On Monday, I tried to follow-up with Jane to find out if she has heard back from the webmaster. She was not in her office. I sent her an email instead. It is now the end of the week; I have not yet received a reply from her.
