This week I worked the queue from my own office (rather than from Quill’s office). So, I was truly and completely “flying solo” this time. I felt that my chat sessions went very well and that I was more efficient and effective than I have been previously. Interestingly, two of my three patrons needed help with citations – one using the MLA style and the other APA. In both cases, I referred them to the Purdue OWL website and pointed them to the specific examples that addressed their questions. Perhaps because I received “comfortable queries” I found this weeks session to be most enjoyable.
